Fun Day at Ann Arbor Ice Cube - 12/18/2010

E-mail Print PDF

Dear Saturday Volunteers:

1.  Thank you very much for helping on AAMOC Ice Skating Party.   I hope you find you find your volunteerism work rewarding in terms of best education for your children. AAMOC exists purely on volunteerism.  Without your help, no one person could have put together such a great party to reward our children for their hard work, and provide them with an opportunity to make more friends. Through your help, we were able to provide a very low cost food to AAMOC families.

2. On behalf of all AAMOC students, and AAMOC leadership, I wish you all happy holiday filled with joy of good health and relaxing family time.

Happy New Year.

Regards,

Mohammad Hassani

  • If your child is in 9th grade or higher and then he/she is not qualified for the Third MOEMS. (Test 3 Scores)

  • Thank you if you have already registered for winter terms, otherwise, please register this Saturday.

  • AAMOC calendar has been on the aamoc.org website.   There is a button on the left column. Here is the link as well. http://www.aamoc.org/index.php/en/aamoc-schedule.html

  • AAMOC intermediate physics class started last week in room 243. Class starts at 10:40 AM. We will take care of registration for this class after a couple weeks of trying and we need parents as well as students input on an incentive reward event. Some students would like to go to Cedar Point. This cannot be done unless we get many parents supporting the event.

  • Lastly, when we have to cancel classes due to weather situation, we post a sign on our website  www.aamoc.org by 7:30 AM. Please do not call me except for emergencies.  As of now we plan to hold classes this Saturday (Jan 21, 2012) although snow is in the weather forecast for next 24 hours.

Many students have expressed their desire for Cedar Point as a Fun day Field Trip (vs. Kalahari water park in the past).   We can take students to Cedar Point it if parents approve and there are enough adult volunteers.   We would like to talk about this with parents first before promising students.   Parents and students, please attend a 10 minute meeting in room 243 to decide on a plan.
