MOEMS Test
- AAMOC students' score ( for Elementary and Middle School (MOEMS) test)
- There are 5 MOEMS tests in each academic year. MOEMS tests are challenging and AAMOC students will develop skills through out the year and score higher in subsequent tests.
- Teachers will go over the test in class this weekend. If you have any question and concern, please discuss it with your child teacher after review.
- This notice includes all information about the test score distribution for each test (E or M) and each student group (by school grade, 5, 6, 7, 8), average for each group, and average for entire AAMOC team. Students in 6th grade or below are allowed to take E test. Students in 7th and 8th grade can take M test. In addition, students in 6th grade or below can take the M test, although it is not recommended because it is too difficult for them.
- MOEMS test # 2 will be on December 10th.
AMC 8
- Near 40 AAMOC students showed on Nov 15th evening at Tappan and took the AMC 8 tests. Thank you to parents for bringing their children and thank you to students for participation.
- Mr Parmar indicated that he will continue the AMC 8 coaching. Interested students, especially 7th graders, are strongly encouraged to continue attending the coaching session after regular math classes (starting 10:40 AM in Room 206).
Science Class
- Science students first fun event will be on Nov 22 afternoon (6 PM) at Ann Arbor Zap Zone. Details will be provided in class this Saturday. www.zap-zone.com/location/ann-arbor/
We plan to start intermediate physics class beginning in January 2012. First we need to know how many people are interested. This class is good for 8th graders (7th and 9th can try as well).
Please see me on Saturday after classes if you still have any question (please limit calling on my cell phone for emergencies only- there are 180 students).
Regards,
Mohammad Hassani
