1. Please read the attached communiqué #1(it is long and has many details, and it is a draft now and proves that we desperately need a better writer!)
2. Make sure your child/children attending AAMOC classes clearly understand "Expectations from Students".
3. Print a copy and have your child to put it on his/her binder for reference and reminder.
4. Make sure your membership registration is complete on Sep 17^th.
5. There are more than 100 families (more than 170 students) in AAMOC 2011 class.   Please allow at least 10-minute time for parking or driving through Tappan.  Please drop off your children in the parking lot at the driveway entrance after 8:50 AM in order to avoid traffic jam near the building entrance door. We need 2 volunteers each week to direct traffic, keep our members safe, and avoid student tardiness. In addition, we need a volunteer to coordinate this task.  Please send me a note if you would like to be the coordinator.
6. AAMOC Calendar is available online  www.aamoc.org (let me know if there is any error).   Reflect all-important dates on your family calendar (test dates, and events).    Note, AMC tests are NOT on Saturdays (time and location are TBD).
7. AAMOC will bring 28 copies of level I textbook for sale ($38) on Saturday Sep 17^th.  Payment is required to pick up the book (no return).
8. AAMOC will bring notebooks and possibly enough 3 ring binders on Saturday Sep 17^th (pick them up if you did not get a set)
9. All students MUST wear AAMOC T shirt while in class (return students now, new student when issued) – place order ASAP ($7 + specify size)
10. All students MUST have AAMOC bag ($10 – only new students need to buy)
11. Snack Distribution Task: (*9/17 and 9/24, Filled. 10/1, Filled one – need a second volunteer)

Welcome back to Fall 2011 year of Math Olympiad.  As always, we are a volunteer organization, for those of you who are new, we always provide free snacks and drinks to students and parents at AAMOC during the break or end of class period.

We normally need one or two people to help serving snacks and drinks during 9:30 - 11:00 a.m. on Saturdays.  If you can donate your time to help please pick a date and send me an email. If you have to leave early is fine too, just give me a note.  I will appreciate your help.  Thanks in advance.  (Nuttaya)
