Return Student Registration (Only committed members and Absolutely No New Students)

· First Date and Time: Tuesday – Sep 6^th, 6:00-7:30 PM

· Second Date and Time: Thursday Sep 8^th, 6:00-7:30 PM

· Location: Ann Arbor Gallup Park (Shelter near the youth fishing pond)

· Details along with conditions will be posted on the website by Monday Sep 5^th Labor Day Holiday

New Student Registration

· Time: 8:30 AM at Tappan Middle School (2^nd floor)

· Date: Saturday Sep 10^th – AAMOC 1st day of classes (plan to attend classes till 10:30 AM)

· First come first served (Now limited to ten fifth grader who can make the commitment required for this program).

· Website will be updates for additional information by Thursday Sep 8^th.

Please read the following carefully.

While AAMOC volunteer teachers spend their time and energy full heartedly for the success of children, SOME (MINORITY) members have not followed through on their pledge that they signed to on the application form "commit to attend and actively participate in all classes and follow all AAMOC rules".      AAMOC teachers are having some discussion on how to make sure AAMOC stays focused on its objectives.

At this time, I am asked to register only those students who are fully committed.   Simply stated, AAMOC students are expected to attend all classes and do all the work except for emergencies and once or twice a year to participate in school sponsored academic/educational events.   In other words, it is ok to skip one or two AAMOC classes to attend science Olympiad, academic games, school sponsored concert/theater, school sponsored field trip; but skipping classes here and there for recreational sport practices is not allowed.

Current direction is NOT to register students who missed more than 35% classes last year.
